关于 Center for Transportation Training and 研究 (CTTR)
The Center for Transportation Training and 研究 (CTTR) is a research arm of 德克萨斯南方大学 and a companion to the Masters of Science program in Transportation Planning and Management. CTTR began in 1983 under the leadership of Dr. Naomi Lede, with a grant from the Federal Transit 政府 (FTA). Currently, CTTR staff has amassed more than 150 years of direct transportation experience. The center's focus was on public transit, 然而, over the last 30 years the research has expanded to include highways, 土地使用, 疏散计划, automated and connected vehicle technologies and other transportation components. Still, public transportation research remains strong and relevant to industry needs. 也, with the University's role as a special institution of higher education for urban programming in mind, CTTR's research continues to expand.
