心理学专业本科学历
希望修读B和B两个学位的学生.A. in 心理学 or an undergraduate minor in psychology must satisfy university requirements and remediate identified deficiencies, as well as petition the Department for admission by completing the Declaration of Major, 小, 浓度 & Catalog Year” form available on the University Registrar’s website.
Continuing TSU students who wish to declare psychology as their major or minor must:
- 总平均分是2分.0或更高;
- have completed PSYC 2301 General 心理学 with a grade of “C” or better;
Freshmen new to the university can declare a major or minor when enrolling. Upon admission to the Department, students are assigned an academic advisor. 学生 are expected to keep the Department Office informed of changes in contact information including home and mailing addresses and telephone numbers during their time at the University.
B选项.A. 心理学学位, first-time seekers of an undergraduate degree must declare a minor in another academic discipline at the University and must earn grades of “C” or better in all psychology and minor courses. Grades of “C-” or below are not acceptable in these courses. In selecting a minor, psychology majors should seek advisement from their academic advisors. Some minors include psychology courses that the student will have used toward their major, which would impact the total number of credits required.
学生 can remain in the psychology major or minor as long as they
- maintain a grade of “C” or higher in all psychology courses with no more than two attempts for a given course;
- do not receive a “F” in two or more courses, or a “D” or lower in three or more courses, 在一个学期中;

To qualify for graduation at the undergraduate level, a minimum of 120 semester credit hours must be satisfactorily completed. Prior to graduation, candidates for the B.A. 心理学学位 must take the departmental exit examination, which is taken in 461Selected Topics In 心理学. 学生 who do not take the exit examination will not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony and must reapply for graduation the following semester.
Transfer students may substitute FS 102 Freshman Seminar/ First Year Experience with any college-level course to complete the total credit hours required by their degree plan.
辅修心理学, twenty–one hour are required through enrollment in six specified courses (credit values indicated) and one elective course. The specified courses are as follows: PSY 233 (3), 鸟叔234 (3), 鸟叔238 (3), Psy 338 (3), Psy 433 (3), 和PSY 435 (3). The elective course may be selected from one of the following three-credit courses PSY 332, Psy 33, 336, 436, 437, 439, 461, 和PSY 463. 学生 must earn grades of “C” or better in the seven (7) courses constituting the minor. As is the case for the major in psychology, minor courses completed by a psychology major in another academic discipline must be completed with grades of “C” or better, C-的成绩是不能接受的.
