执照和经验要求
In order to become a registered pharmacist in the State of Texas, 一个人必须有, 至少, 获得理学学士学位.S.) Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school or college of pharmacy in the United States; must obtain a passing grade (75.OO) on the North American Pharmacists Licensure Examination (NAPLEX); and must earn a passing grade (also 75.OO) on the Texas Jurisprudence Examination. In order to qualify to take the NAPLEX in Texas, a person must be a graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy with either a Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree, 年龄在21岁以上, 有良好的道德品质, and furfill the practical experience requirement. The 药学与健康科学学院 has a structured practical experience program, approved by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, that satisfies the practical experience requirement for licensure.
环境卫生登记
Persons completing the program of study in Environmental 健康 are eligible to apply for registration/certification with the National Environmental 健康 Association (NEHA), the Air Pollution Training Institute (APTI), 国家安全委员会(NSC), the American Conference of Governmental 工业卫生学者s (ACGIH), the National Society of 健康 Physics (NSHP), the Texas Environmental 健康 Association (TEHA), and the Texas Natural 资源 Conservation Commission (TNRCC). The curriculum of study prepares students for successful completion of registration/certification examinations for Environmental Quality Specialist, 有害物质专业, 工业卫生学者, 和健康物理学家.
Registration/Certification as a 健康 Information Manager
The Bachelor of Science Degree is awarded to students upon successful completion of the curriculum in 健康 Information Management. 一旦学生获得这个学位, they are eligible to apply for registration as 健康 Information Managers through the American 健康 Information Management Association.
Registration/Certification as a Medical Technologist
Upon completion of all academic and professional work in Medical 技术, students are eligible to receive both the Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical 技术 and a Certificate of Completion in Medical 技术 as well as to apply to take the national certification examination administered by The American Society of Clinical Pathology Board of Registry and The National Certification Agency for Medical Laboratory Personnel.
Registration/Certification as a Respiratory Therapist
In progressing through the curriculum of study in Respiratory Therapy, students are prepared for successful completion of the senior-level course: HSRT 4S4. 完成这门课程, they are eligible to receive a Certificate of Completion and to take The National Board of Respiratory Care Entry Level Examination (or CRTT exam). After successful completion of the CRTT exam, 并收到国家许可证, students may take the registry examinations (written and clinical simulation) to obtain the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential. The Bachelor of Science Degree in Respiratory Therapy is awarded upon successful completion of the fourth year of the curriculum.
